Proudest Sporting Moment: Transferring to play scrum half from second row

Trinity College Rugby is an ever-growing society in Trinity and one of the biggest sporting groups in the college. We are keen to build on the successes of last season, with notable wins over Queens and Fitzwilliam, to produce an even more fruitful season.

One of the keys to moving forward as a club is recruiting new players, so freshers: we need you! The rugby club will enable you to experience a different side of Trinity away from the stress of work. First, and most obviously, it will allow you to play rugby, but what's not to love about that? Secondly, it's a great way of meeting people in other years and I can vouch for this in that I have made many friends in older years through the rugby club!

TCRUFC also has a great social scene! We meet every Saturday for drinks and often do events with other Trinity sports societies! It is really important whilst at Cambridge to take your mind off work (you can't be doing it all the time!) and rugby is a great social way to do this!

Therefore, to anyone who has never played rugby, or had the opportunity to, please sign up as Trinity is renowned for developing complete beginners into expert rugby players. Thus, if you're an experienced rugby player, who wants to keep playing the great game, or someone who wants to give rugby a go and throw the 'footy' around with some mates then sign up!
