Hi all!

I’m Alexis, and I’m in charge of Trinity shooting this year. I’m a fourth year student of Persian and Arabic, fresh back from my Year Abroad in the Middle East.

If you’re keen to try but have never yet picked up a rifle, fear not - I’m here to help get you started in the wonderful world of shooting and there’s always room for beginners! If you’re already something of a sharpshooter and want to continue, fantastic! All are welcome, and there’s training for comers of all levels.

There’s plenty on offer here, the main focus in the Michaelmas and Lent terms being on .22 calibre indoor shooting at 25 yards. In the Easter term we transition over to .308 at Bisley (the National Shooting Centre), where the sport takes place outdoors and at much greater range, with matches being shot at anywhere from 300 to 1200 yards. There’s also lots of opportunities to win prizes, both individually and for the College!

If you have any questions at all please don’t hesitate to send me a message or email at shooting@trinityfieldclub.net – it’d be lovely to hear from you!
